Catawba College continues to be ranked among the Top 10 Best Colleges in the South by U.S. News & World Report. The 2020 national rankings were announced today in the magazine’s new edition of “Best Colleges.” Catawba is ranked #8 in the 2020 rankings. This is the fourth straight year that the college has received a Top 10 ranking.

Catawba College has elected four new members of its Board of Trustees, according to an announcement by Bill Graham ’83 of Salisbury, Board Chair. They are Lee Syria of Newton, NC, Bart Edge '81 of Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA, and Ocean Isle Beach, NC; Pamela Huffman Falls '95 of Herndon, VA, and Raymond Daniels '91 of Lexington, KY.

Catawba College students in the Conservation Biology class assisted a research scientist from the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences on a project to document crayfish diversity in North Carolina. The students visited stream sites near Kannapolis and Concord, where they searched for crayfish to contribute to the museum's collection. |

MIND, BODY, SOUL Campaign Updates

|
|
MIND BODY SOUL, Catawba's Campaign for Growth, began the Omwake-Dearborn Chapel Organ Enhancement Project in 2018. The project raised $300,000 to renovate and enhance the Casavant Organ, which is more than 50 years old. A dedicatory concert was held on Sunday, September 29.

Maryland MIND, BODY, SOUL Campaign Event October 20 Montgomery Country Club | Laytonsville, MD You are invited to experience the vocal talents of several Catawba College music students in concert as they tour the MD region on Sunday, October 20th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. After the concert, please stay to mix and mingle with fellow alumni, parents, friends, and prospective students.
