Class Giving Challenge
 
The Catawba Class Giving Challenge is OVER! The challenge ran through May 31st. The July edition will show results as of May 31st.  

The classes that have the most participation and the most money raised will be celebrated at the Alumni Awards and Brunch during Homecoming Weekend (Oct. 25-27), 2019.

The Dean's List and Presidential Honor Roll for 2019 have been announced, highlighting students that achieved GPAs of 3.5 and 3.7 respectively.

Catawba announced that it will be the first college to have new high-tech ball tracking software installed at Newman Park. This technology allows coaches and players to get real-time data on pitches and make rapid adjustments. This should benefit the baseball team immensely and help them continue to improve. Read More

Catawba has granted six Impact Funding Awards for summer study to students, thanks to the MIND BODY SOUL Campaign. Students are able to use the funding for internships, research opportunities, or to fund study abroad trips. Read More

Dr. Steve Coggin is retiring after 34 years of service at Catawba. A professor of Biology and director of the Center of International Studies, Dr. Coggin was recognized during Graduation Exercises on May 11. Read More

Jackson Raper was this year's winner of the Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF) stock market competition with a total return of 6.37 percent. Read More

Many students, including Blake Pierce, Lukas Helbing, and Ryen Reid, won awards for their presentations at the annual State Leadership Conference of the North Carolina State Chapter of Phi Beta Lambda (PBL). Many students qualified to compete in the PBL Nationals in June. Read More

A $250,00 gift was given to Catawba from the Jim Whitton family to establish a mental health counseling curriculum as part of the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance. Read More

Attendees will enjoy our reserved event space and all-you-can-eat buffet at the Rooftop Party Terrace, from 6:00-first pitch at 7:00 p.m. Afterwards, enjoy the game in our group seating area and be sure to stay for the post-game fireworks display.
