Jonathan Rife ’19 works as an accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Raleigh area, where he’s appreciative of his Catawba education and everything it taught him.

Scott Wood was named Elkin High School Teacher of the Year. He is in his 25th year of teaching. Congrats, Scott!

Luca Picci ’19 is celebrating his first professional publication as a contributing author on a United Nations Development Project research study.

Taylor Adams ’05 is Deputy Director at the Resource and Crisis Center of Galveston County in Galveston, Texas. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an expertise in trauma therapy, specifically for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.

Catawba College received a $13.7 million gift from an anonymous donor to retire debt and position Catawba to achieve its vision for academic excellence in the future.

Renovations of Newman Park are officially under way! A camera has been set up to track the progress, so check out the timelapse below:

The Dean’s List and Presidential Honor Roll have been announced. Congrats to all the students that put in the effort to earn these achievements!

Discover, Catawba’s Youth Theology Institute, will be hosted on Catawba’s campus this summer. For middle and high school students, this time is set aside for students to explore their sense of faith and calling. They also get to choose a track to explore practical theology and vocation working closely alongside Catawba faculty, staff, and students. This year’s tracks include Sport Management, Worship Music, and Service and Ministry Leadership. We hope you will send interested students our way!
