Happy January 2019! It is a new year — full of new beginnings, new goals, and new resolutions. If you haven't created your new year resolutions list yet, here are a few Catawba-themed suggestions!
- Wear your Blue & White colors often and with pride!
- Refer an outstanding high school student to Catawba.
- Read your new issue of CAMPUS.
- Nominate an alum for one of the annual Alumni Awards before the FEBRUARY 1ST DEADLINE! (see below).
- Attend an upcoming Alumni & Parent event near you or on campus.
- Update your contact information if you have moved, started/changed jobs, got married, etc. recently.
- Make a gift to Catawba College in honor of your favorite professor, best friend, roommate, etc.

The Reverend Bobby Bonds '53 of Kannapolis, N.C., was the recipient of Catawba College's 2018 Church/College Award. The award, offered by Catawba's Office of Campus Ministry and the Lilly Center for Vocation and Values, was presented during the 2018 Church/College Dinner, held December 4th on campus. HOMECOMING 2019 October 25-27 Classes of 2019, 2014, 2009, 2004, 1999, 1994, 1989, 1984, 1979, 1974 and 1969 are due to celebrate milestone reunions. Please contact the alumni office at alumni@catawba.edu if you are a member of one of these classes and would like to join a reunion planning committee. We need at least 5 classmates from a reunion class to form a planning committee for those classes that wish to have individual reunion events during Homecoming. All reunion classes will be honored at a new, All Campus Party Saturday evening of Homecoming Weekend. More information coming soon. ADD TO CALENDAR
